Welcome to Bits, Bytes & Bots serving Austin TX! We are dedicated to making sure your children have a fun, memorable learning experience. We serve the Austin, Del Valle, Eanes, Dripping Springs, Round Rock and Lake Travis school districts with after school programs that are conveniently located at your child’s school. Our vacation day programs and summer camps are located more centrally and are open to children from any school district.

About the owners:
Matilda O’Connor has been a resident of Austin for over 17 years and has more than 20 years of management and engineering experience in high-tech and manufacturing industries. When I am asked the question, “What do you do?”, my response is, “I get to teach kids how to have fun with robots, how to make computer games and how to make movies!”. Owning Bits, Bytes & Bots Computer Adventures in Austin has been a perfect opportunity for me to combine my love of technology and children with my business management and engineering background. With the important role that technology playes in today’s world, the opportunity to teach technology skills to children and to help them to prepare for the future is one that I relish. Working with children on important skills such as design, conceptualization, creative, problem-solving and troubleshooting while using technology tools in a fun environment is a fantastic way to make an impact on children’s futures!
My son’s (Riley) love of Legos, computers and technology led me to Bits, Bytes & Bots several years ago. The opportunity to share his interests with him and seeing his enthusiasm for the programs I offer inspires me on a daily basis. It is particularly gratifying to me to see children’s eyes light up as they are able to program their robots to do what they want and when they successfully create players in their computer games. It is a joy to watch their confidence grow as they learn new skills and to see how proud they are when showing their projects to their parents. I also love seeing how proud and amazed parents are of what their children are able to accomplish. To see children learn new skills and enjoy technology had been extremely satisfying!
