Welcome to Bits, Bytes & Bots serving Collin County TX! We are dedicated to making sure your children have a fun, memorable learning experience. We are currently serving the McKinney area. We are offering summer camps open to individuals and groups. In addition to the camps we currently offer, we can customize a camp for groups interested in starting a camp at a new location or different times.  We will be adding after school programs in the fall and will make those times and locations available over the next month. About the owner:

I recently moved to Collin County and am planning to start the Bits Bytes and Bots program here.

I have been a teacher in the public school system in Texas, Louisiana and California for over 12 years. My love of teaching has extended beyond the classroom to include leading scouts, coaching soccer and cheerleading and volunteering to lead several other youth programs. I received my bachelor’s degree in mathematics from San Diego State University and have worked on a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.  I love learning about how things work and want to share that love of learning with my students.

 One thing that I keep hearing,  as an educator and that I have found to be true in my engineering studies is there is a sharp decline in high school students choosing to enter engineering and technology fields in college. I would like to do what I can to inspire young children to love exploring and investigating technology.

The Bits Bytes and Bots program is the perfect tool to do this very thing.   My two boys (ages 8 and 9) were the catalyst for my involvement with robots and computer game design. We have loved learning together and want to extend that love and excitement to your child.
