Welcome to the Collin County 2010 Summer Camps

We want to introduce McKinney to the worlds of robots with our Roaring into Robots Summer Camps offered at the Stonebridge Methodist Church.

The camps will be held Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM and are being offered June 14th, August 2nd or August 9th.

Roaring into Robots: What’s NeXT: Ages 8-11

Your child will have a great time learning to build and program the LEGO® Mindstorms® NXT robots, the coolest robot available. They will learn how meet challenges such as reacting to intruders, moving objects to different locations, stinging an intruder with a robot tail, or beating your opponent at LEGO® Sumo, a BBB favorite.

No experience in robotics is needed enjoy your robotics camp.  All camps will use the new LEGO® Mindstorms® NXT robot.

*Robots are for use by students in class only.  Students will not be able to take them home.
